2020 Music at MFM: April 10, 2020
I hope all of you are staying as safe and sane as possible amid all the chaos. I know there is so much uncertainty right now, and we wanted to reach out to all of you to check-in and let you know that we're still here, and we still plan to run the Manzanita Farmers Market in some form this summer.
We are unsure if and/or when we will be able to have live music at the farmers market this summer and wanted to alert you to that possibility. While farmers markets are currently considered "essential businesses" and allowed to operate, at present the guidelines for farmers markets in Oregon include cancelling all non-essential programming, which would mean no live music. We will be in touch and keep you updated as best we can.
So much has changed so quickly and continues to evolve with the COVID-19 pandemic that we're following the situation closely. We are making contingency plans for different possible scenarios, keeping a close eye on official mandates, keeping track of best practices and innovative solutions, as well as discussing and learning from what other farmers markets are doing in Oregon and nationally.
Feel free to reach out with questions, concerns, or suggestions.
Wishing you all the best! Here's hoping we get to enjoy your music at the farmers market this summer.
