May 9 tentative - 2020 MFM Season Update: April 10, 2020

Greetings vendors,

This is a tentative heads up that the Manzanita Farmers Market is making plans for a vendor opportunity on Saturday May 9th to replace our previously planned indoor Mothers Day market event.

Instead, we expect to be able to offer online pre-ordering and drive-through customer order pickup at the Manzanita city parking lot where the summer market is held. At this time it appears likely that we will only be able to offer sales of food items and farm products (likely including flowers and edible plant starts) on May 9th. For the online ordering platform we are getting set up with the WhatsGood App, along with a large number of other farmers markets in Oregon.

We will be providing more information as promptly as we are able. There are many details, scenarios, and considerations that we are working through. We'll keep you updated!

Please let us know if you are interested in selling your product on May 9th in the following poll. We don't know yet what the scenario will be so this is just for our internal planning purposes. Feel free to fill out the poll even if you are not a food or farm vendor.

May 9 vendor opportunity - YES, NO, MAYBE?

Thanks all and here's wishing you a good weekend!

Emily Vollmer, Market Manager Manzanita Farmers Market
