The vegetables are finally starting to make an appearance at the market.  Shoppers will find more varieties and the produce vendors stocked up.   You don’t have to get to the market at opening time to get the “good stuff” — our produce vendors have plenty, and rarely run out — there’s plenty for everyone.  Now the same thing cannot be said for the pies from Nehalem Bay Pie Company — they regularly sell out, but you can always visit their retail store on Manzanita Ave. for your favorite pie.  The guest winery will be Gino Cuneo and Manzanita Fresh Foods will be sampling  a variety of cheeses and specialty foods.  The Manzanita Farmers Market — it’s the place to be on Friday evenings from 5 to 8 pm.  See you there!

The Manzanita Farmers Market’s 4th season has started off with sunny skies for the first two markets. Everyone is excited and anticipating a BIG weekend with the 4th of July holiday coming up. The market will be full of delights — berries and more berries, cheeses from the Manzanita Deli, treats from Pod Chocolate, wonderful wines from Basketcase Wines, yummy baked goods from LlamaMama and Handycreek Bakeries and much more!
